Banff/Canmore

The bus bumped along the narrow road at the cliff's edge. As it turned the corner, Rundle Mountain came into full view, glinting in the morning sun. It was spectacular, even from my plastic seat. This was like no other public transit I'd taken before. And yet, around me were the familiar: strollers and moms, people going to work, the humdrum of daily life. What contrast between the spectacular and the mundane.
